Lucas County, Iowa
Lucas County is a county in the U.S. state of Iowa. As of the 2010 census, the population was 8,898.[1] The county seat is Chariton.[2] The county was founded in 1846[3] and named for Robert Lucas, a governor of the territory.[4]
