Manolo Gabbiadini

Manolo Gabbiadini (born 26 November 1991) is an Italian professional footballer. He plays as a striker for Serie A club Sampdoria. He is a former Italy under-20 and under-21 international. He has played for the senior Italian national team since 2012.

Gabbiadini was born in Calcinate. Between 2009 and 2013, he played for Atalanta, Cittadella, Juventus and Bologna. In 2013, he signed for Sampdoria. In July 2015, he was sold to Napoli, before moving to English side Southampton during in January 2017. In 2019, he returned to Sampdoria.

On 12 March 2020, during the 2019–20 coronavirus pandemic, it was made clear that Gabbiadini had tested positive for COVID-19.[1]
