Melanie Brown

Melanie Brown (born 29 May 1975) is a British singer, songwriter and television personality. She is best known as a member of the Spice Girls. She became known for her big frizzy hair during the groups early years and her nickname was "Scary Spice". She has also released two solo albums. Hot was released in 2000. "I Want You Back" was released as a single from the album. Missy Elliott rapped in it. It reached number one in the UK. Brown's second album L.A. State of Mind was released in 2005. In 1997 Brown acted in Spice World. She won the Razzie Award for Worst Actress. The Spice Girls started in 1994. The band released three albums. They broke up in 2000. In 2007 the Spice Girls did a tour called The Return of the Spice Girls.
