Michael Parkinson

Sir Michael Parkinson, CBE, also known as Parky, (born 28 March 1935) is an English broadcaster, journalist, and writer. He is best known for his chat show Parkinson. He was born in Cudworth, a village in South Yorkshire. He went to Barnsley Grammar School.[1] He started his journalism career writing for local newspapers. His book Parky: My Autobiography was published on 2 October 2008. Parkinson lives with his wife in Berkshire.
