Mumble rap
Mumble rap (often referred to as "SoundCloud rap"[5]) is a loosely defined microgenre[6] of hip hop that became popular on the online audio distribution platform SoundCloud in the mid-2010s.[7] The term implies a mumbling or unclear vocal delivery by artists. It may generally refer to rappers who do not share the genre's traditional emphasis on lyricism.[8] A notable mumble rapper is Future.
