Pandoravirus yedoma
Pandoravirus yedoma, or P. yedoma, is a virus which originated 48,500 years ago. It was found in the deep Siberian permafrost in Russia.

It was revived by French scientists.[1] The French National Centre for Scientific Research has revived more than a dozen prehistoric viruses from the Siberian permafrost.[2]
