Pere Tàpias

Pere Tàpias (19 May 1946 – 22 April 2017) (Catalan pronunciation: [ˈpeɾə ˈtapiəs]) was a Spanish radio presenter and food writer in Catalonia, Spain. He was the host of a Catalunya Ràdio program, Tàpies Variades.[1] He was the 2005–2006 Ambassor of Xató. He was born in Vilanova i la Geltrú, Spain.

Tàpias died on 22 April 2017 from liver disease in Sant Pere de Ribes, Spain at the age of 70.[2]
