Petre Ivănescu

Petre Ivănescu (15 April 1936 – 1 April 2022) was a Romanian handball player and coach. He played for Dinamo București and for Romania national team.[1][2] He was born in Bucharest, Romania. His playing career began in 1954 and he retired in 1974. His managing career began in 1967 and he retired in 2005.

Ivănescu died on 1 April 2022 in Essen, Germany from colon cancer at the age of 85.[3]
