Piper Laurie

Piper Laurie (born January 22, 1932 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American actress. She played Catherine in the television series Twin Peaks. She acted in the movies Carrie and Children of a Lesser God. She has also acted in stage plays. She was married to movie critic Joe Morgenstern from 1962 until they divorced in 1982.
