Roger Corman

Roger Corman (born April 5, 1926) is an American movie director, producer, and actor. He made dozens of low-budget B-movies such as Swamp Women (1955), The Little Shop of Horrors (1960), and The Saga of the Viking Women and Their Voyage to the Waters of the Great Sea Serpent.

He is best known for six movies based on the short stories of Edgar Allan Poe that include House of Usher (1960), The Pit and the Pendulum (1961), and The Masque of the Red Death (1964).
