Rolands Kalniņš

Rolands Kalniņš (7 May 1922 – 17 May 2022) was a Latvian movie director, screenwriter and producer.[1] He was born in Vecslabada, Latvia. His movies Stone and Rubble and Breathe Deeply were extremely controversial.

Kalniņš turned 100 on 7 May 2022. He died ten days later on 17 May.[2]
