Ryogo Hirota

Ryogo Hirota (1932-2015) is a Japanese mathematician and a former professor at Waseda University. He investigated about nonlinear differential equations and their discrete versions.[1][2][3][4][5] He invented a method to solve nonlinear differential equations, and it is currently known as the "Hirota's direct method".[6][7][8]
