Spencer, South Dakota
Spencer is a city in the eastern part of the U.S. state of South Dakota. It is located in McCook County, and 154 people lived there at the 2010 census.[1] Spencer became a city in 1917.[2] On the night of May 30, 1998, a tornado rated F4 on the Fujita scale struck the city. It killed six people and destroyed most of the buildings in the city.[3]
