Strictly Come Dancing

Strictly Come Dancing is a British television programme. It features celebrities dancing with professional dancers. In each series, the couples compete to decide a winner.

There were two series in its first year, 2004. From 2005 onwards, there has been one series per year. Many countries have their own version of the show (see Dancing with the Stars).

Judges

It is shown on BBC One and is presented by Bruce Forsyth, Tess Daly & Claudia Winkleman. It is narrated by Alan Dedicoat. The judges since it began is Craig Revel Horwood. Arlene Phillips was a judge 2004-2008; Alesha Dixon was in Arlene Phillips's place 2009-2011. Len Goodman was a judge 2004-2016; Shirley Ballas is the current judge in Len Goodman's place since 2016. Darcey Bussell was the current judge in Alesha Dixon's place 2011-2018. Motsi Mabuse is the current judge in Darcey Bussell's place. Anton Du Beke is the current judge in Bruno Tonioli's place. Bruno Tonioli was a judge 2004-2019.
