Tom Kaulitz

Tom Kaulitz (born September 1, 1989) is Tokio Hotel's guitarist, rapper and songwriter. He is ten minutes older than his identical twin brother Bill Kaulitz. He is from Magdeburg in Germany. He moved from there to his studio flat in Hamburg with his brother, Bill. They have relocated to Berlin. He has a unique style from his brother, but yet they are still alike. He owns a ton of hats (more than 50+) and is custom made. His favorite guitar is Gibson. He is married to model Heidi Klum. Him and his brother Bill Kaulitz attended Kurfürst-Joachim-Friedrich-Gymnasium Wolmirstedt highschool.

Tokio Hotel quickly rose to fame in 2005, with their debut album, Schrei. The album scored three number one singles and Tokio Hotel soon became one of the most successful German acts of their generation. Kaulitz was 15 at the time. After finding an international audience for their music, the teen quartet eventually went platinum in multiple foreign countries. Apart from guitar Kaulitz also plays the piano and percussion instruments. He sings backup vocals for Tokio Hotel when it is required.
