Trevor McDonald
Sir Trevor McDonald OBE (born George McDonald on 16 August 1939) is a British journalist. He was ITN's first black journalist.[1]
In 1992, McDonald became the presenter of the ITV News at Ten. In 1999 the programme ended. In 1999 Tonight with Trevor McDonald started on ITV. In 2007 McDonald stopped presenting the programme. It is now simply called Tonight.
He was born in Trinidad. In 1969 he started working for the BBC.
