Tsuyoshi Watanabe (渡辺 剛, Watanabe Tsuyoshi, born February 5, 1997) is a Japanese football player. He played for the Japan national team.

Biography

Watanabe was born in Saitama Prefecture on February 5, 1997. After graduating from Chuo University, he joined J1 League club FC Tokyo in 2019. He played many matches as center back from first season.

In December 2019, Watanabe was selected the Japan national team for 2019 E-1 Football Championship. At this tournament, he debuted against Hong Kong on December 14.
