Victor Krasin

Victor Aleksandrovich Krasin (also spelled Viktor Krasin, Russian: Ви́ктор Алекса́ндрович Кра́син, 4 August 1929 – 3 September 2017) was a Russian human rights activist, economist, a former Soviet dissident and a political prisoner.[1] At the time of his death Krasin was a US citizen. He was the founder of Initiative Group for the Defense of Human Rights in the USSR. He was born in Kiev, Ukraine.

Krasin died in Nahariya, Israel on 3 September 2017 at the age of 88.[2]
