Vijayakanth

Vijayakanth is a Tamil actor and politician.[1] (born 25 August 1952)[2] He was the Leader of the Opposition of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from 2011 to 2016. Before becoming a politician, he was a film actor in Tamil cinema from 1979 to 2010. He is the founder of Desiya Murpokku Dravida Kazhagam and served as a Member of Legislative Assembly representing the constituency of Rishivandiyam.
