Virgil van Dijk
Virgil van Dijk (born 8 July 1991) is a Dutch professional footballer. He plays as a centre-back for Premier League club Liverpool and the Netherlands national team. He was born in Breda, North Brabant.

Van Dijk began his career with Dutch team Groningen. He played there between 2011 and 2013. Then he moved to Scottish Premiership team Celtic. He won two league titles and a Scottish League Cup in both his seasons at Celtic. In 2015, he moved to Southampton of the Premier League. On 1 January 2018, van Dijk joined Liverpool.[1]
