Walter Bahr
Walter Alfred Bahr (April 1, 1927 – June 18, 2018) was an American professional soccer player. He was thought to be one of the greatest ever in his country.[1] He was the long-time captain of the U.S. national team and played in the 1950 FIFA World Cup.[2]

Bahr died on June 18, 2018, in Boalsburg, Pennsylvania, from complications related to a broken hip, aged 91.[3]
