-atic m or n (feminine singular -atică, masculine plural -atici, feminine and neuter plural -atice)

  1. (unproductive) Used to form some adjectives (and sometimes nouns derived from them) meaning "of", "like", "characteristic of", etc.
    ‎iarnă (“winter”) + ‎-atic → ‎iernatic (“of the winter, hibernal”)
    ‎toamnă (“autumn”) + ‎-atic → ‎tomnatic (“of the autumn, autumnal”)
    ‎zână (“fairy”) + ‎-atic → ‎zănatic (“crazy”)
