The suffix -tōrius is added to a participle to create a first- and second-declension adjective.

Examples:

meritōrius (“profitable”), from meritus (“earned”), perfect passive participle of mereō (“I earn, deserve, merit”)

textōrius (“of weaving”), from textus (“woven”), perfect passive participle of texō (“I weave”) — could also be derived from textōr (“weaver”) with -ius

Note that in some cases, where the suffix -ius is added to an agent noun ending in -tor, the result may be difficult or impossible to distinguish from the addition of -tōrius.
