Síntesis Biográfica
Rabe nació en la Ciudad de Nueva York, Estados Unidos. Es hija de la fallecida actriz Jill Clayburgh y del dramaturgo David Rabe. Asistió a la Universidad de Northwestern y a la Escuela Hotchkiss. Fue inicialmente elegida para interpretar a Lyme en las adaptaciones cinematográficas de Sinsajo. Rabe tuvo que abandonar la filmación de la segunda parte debido a un compromiso laboral, siendo reemplazada por la actriz Gwendoline Christie.
Es conocida por interpetar papeles en The Good Wife, All Good Things y Aftermath.
Fue parte de American Horror Story, interpretando a la fallecida Nora Montgomery. También co-protagonizó la segunda temporada, Asylum, como la hermana Mary Eunice McKeen y fue co-protagonista de Coven, interpretando a la bruja Misty Day.
