How to Add Membership Cards to Apple Wallet

Do you have a ton of membership and rewards cards that are difficult to keep track of? Adding your membership cards and passes to your Apple wallet will make losing, damaging, or forgetting your cards a thing of the past. As long as the type of card you're using supports Apple Wallet, adding it will be easy—we'll walk you through it!

Steps

Open Apple Wallet. This app icon looks like a white wallet and colored cards displayed on a black background that you can usually find on the iPhone Home screen.

Tap Edit Passes. You'll be able to either Scan code (if the card is supported within the app, like a Walgreens card) or Find Apps for Wallet (if the card is not supported within Wallet, like a shopping card you use at your grocery store, which might have its own separate app that also offers coupons etc).

Tap Scan Code. To save the card within Wallet (if you're not using the separate app for that card, like the ShopRite mobile app that offers coupons), tap Scan Code.
- Your camera will load.

Take a picture of the bar code on your card. The bar code looks like a series of black lines that vary in thickness.
- If you select Find Apps for Wallet, the App Store will load with all the apps that are compatible with Wallet.

Tap Add to Apple Wallet (if you see it) or Add. If you get a pop-up, tap Add to Apple Wallet or tap Add in the top right corner of your screen.^{[1]
