    Go to roc.az.gov or any Arizona Registrar of Contractors to obtain an Arizona Contractor's License Application. Read all the instructions in the packet before beginning to fill out the application. The forms are fillable or you will need to fill it out by printing with black ink or with a typewriter.

    Identify your qualifying party. And learn the minimum number of years of experience and minimum number of projects your qualifying party must have and the types of examinations he/she must successfully pass to be eligible for a specific license classification.     Pass Examination(s).The Qualifying Party must pass the required examinations by at least 70% and submit the exam results. The Qualifying Party must complete a business management exam (BME) and a specific trade exam, unless eligible for a waiver.[2]

    • Form or register your legal entity at the Arizona Corporation Commission (if necessary).
