How to Call Using Viber on iPhone or iPad

This wikiHow teaches you how to make a phone call on the Viber app, using an iPhone or iPad.

Steps

Open Viber on your iPhone or iPad. The Viber app looks like a white phone icon in a purple speech bubble on your home screen, or in a folder.
- If Viber opens up to a conversation, tap the
  icon on the top-left to go back to your Chats list.

Tap the Contacts icon at the bottom. This button looks like a figurehead icon on a navigation bar. It will open your contacts list.

Tap the Viber tab at the top. This will show you a list of all your Viber contacts.
- Contacts who are not on Viber will not show up here. If you see a Viber icon next to a contact's name, this means they're on Viber.

Tap a contact's name. This will open their profile information on a new page.

Select a call method on your contact's profile page. You can tap the purple Free Call button for an internet call, or select one of the other options here.
- Free Call will make an online audio call. This means you won't be using up your mobile carrier's call minutes, but you have to be online.
- Free Video Call works just like Free Call, but you can video chat with your contact.
- If you have any Viber credits, you can use the Viber Out Call option and call mobile or landline numbers that are not on Viber.
- If you select Cellular Call, your regular mobile carrier rates will apply.
