Do you feel a deep spiritual void in your life? Do you believe that there is far more to life, than simply material success? Is all the money and success you have not satisfying you spiritually? Just as the person who is single seeks someone to be their life-long companion, you are seeking a God, or gods, to be your Lord?

Steps

Learn about the many different religions which are out there, and about what their beliefs in God or gods are.

Ask yourself, what exactly are you seeking spiritually.

Read the different Scriptures of various religions. Example: The Bible, the Quran, the Vedas, the I Ching, etc.

Are you seeking a God which will help you with your relationship with nature? or with your fellow human beings? Or perhaps both...?

Learn the different stories which are associated with God or gods, in order to narrow down your choice.

Learn about the different kinds of evil entities, which different religions are trying to oppose, in order to narrow down your choice. (Example: if you wish to oppose satanic evil, then most likely the God of Christianity or Islam is the one you wish to worship; or if its the delusions of the Mara, then it is most likely the Buddha whom you wish to follow).

Think about which virtues are most important to you.

Visit different churches, mosques, temples, etc., in order to learn the way in which God or gods are worshipped by different religions.

Which religions teach that having a relationship to nature and protecting the environment are important?

All religions teach respect for the earth, but it is up to the followers of that religion to actually follow it and respect the earth. Many religious leaders have other agendas and respecting the earth is sometimes not important to them. This can be said for most religions.
Question

I am confused what God I should worship, have narrowed down to Catholic faith and Guan Yin. Advise please.

Well, the Catholic faith is the oldest Christian denomination, as the Papacy goes all the way back to St. Peter the Apostle, whom Christ chose as his rock (St. Matthew chapter 16, verse 19). Also, Christ Is literally present in the Blessed Sacrament. Guan Yin (or Kwan Yin) is a Buddhist goddess. She is worshipped in the Pure Land sect. So, you may have to research Pure Land and compare it to Catholicism.
