How to Create a Viber Account on PC or Mac

This wikiHow teaches you how to sign up for Viber Out using a web browser on your computer. You’ll need to have a mobile phone handy, as part of the signup process involves confirming an SMS code.

Steps

Go to https://account.viber.com/en/create-account in a web browser. You can use any web browser, such as Safari or Firefox, to sign up for Viber.

Enter your phone number. The country code should automatically be filled in. If not, select the correct country from the drop-down menu.

Check the “I’m not a robot” box and click Continue. Viber will send a verification code to the phone number you entered.

Enter the verification code. It’s in the text message from Viber.

Click Continue.

Enter your email address.

Enter and confirm your password. Make sure to type the password exactly the same into both blanks. Passwords are case-sensitive.
- If you want Viber to keep you logged in so you don’t have to enter your password later, check the box next to “Remember me.”
- If you want to receive email messages about promotions from Viber, check the box beside “Send me updates…”

Click Done. Your Viber Out account is now active. You can now use Viber to make cheap international phone calls.
