Whether you're designing a band logo, doing a school project, or simply doodling to pass the time, being able to draw a bass guitar is a useful skill.

Steps

  1. 1
    Draw a slanted triangle.
  2. 2
Draw a smaller triangle that is facing the opposite direction as the first one. These 2 triangles will be the body.

  3. 3
Draw a long, thin rectangle between the two triangles. This will act as the fret board/neck.
  4. 4
Draw 2 opposing triangles at the end of the rectangle. The one connected to the rectangle should be smaller. Add a circle at the end of the bigger triangle.
  5. 5
Draw an oval over the end of the 2 big triangles. This will help you draw the curves of the guitar body.
  6. 6
Add the details. Draw 4 small circles connected by 4 lines at the end of the fret board/neck. Draw several rectangles and circle at the body for the pickup and the knobs (volume, tone etc...)
  7. 7
Ink the drawing and erase the sketch.
  8. 8
Color it. Admire your new drawing!
