Bananas are very simple to draw. In this article, you will learn how to draw a half-peeled banana. Get started with step 1, below!

Steps

  1. 1
Draw a long, narrow oval.  Slightly curve the ends up.  (Use a very soft pencil or light hand to draw this step.)
  2. 2
Bring the bottom of the oval to a point.  This makes the bottom end of the banana.  (Use a slightly darker lead.)

  3. 3
Add three curves.  One curve to the right of the banana; one to the left; and one across the middle.  Make the two side curves more acute than the middle one.
  4. 4
Draw a curvy triangle, using the middle curve as a base.
  5. 5
Add more curves to compete the sides.
  6. 6
    Erase unwanted lines.
  7. 7
Add final details.  Define the final edges with a darker lead pencil, or with more force. Color if desired.

The black thing in a pencil that you use to write with, is called lead. Step 7 says "Define the final edges with a darker lead pencil" meaning you should use a pencil that has a darker shade than the one you originally used.
