Preparing the PVC Pipe

    Measure and cut the following lengths of PVC pipe:

    Smooth the cut edges either by sanding or with a utility blade. You don't want any burrs of plastic sticking out to complicate assembly.

    Set up a painting area outdoors. Use a sheet of cardboard or paper to protect surrounding surfaces if needed. Paint each piece and allow to dry thoroughly.
