How to Reconnect Candy Crush to Facebook

If you've just changed your password in Facebook, you may find yourself having a difficult time connecting Candy Crush to your Facebook account. You may see an error message in Candy Crush saying "Sorry, you don't have access to the Kingdom right now." If you can't connect, there are several methods you can try to get it reconnected.

Note: There is a known issue with connecting the Candy Crush App to your Facebook account that has been plaguing users for years. This problem is occasionally fixed by the developers only to resurface later. The following methods may help you get reconnected, but it may be out of your control until the game's developers fixes the problem.

Things You Should Know

Uninstall and Reinstall the Candy Crush app.
If you're using a computer, open Facebook and open the Candy Crush app. Click "Play on Phone".
If you're using a phone, uninstall and reinstall the Facebook app. Log into Facebook and then open the Candy Crush app and tap "Connect!".

Uninstall the Candy Crush app on your phone. On iOS, tap and hold the Candy Crush Saga icon until it starts wiggling, and then tap the "x" button that appears on the icon. On Android, open the Settings menu, select the Applications section, find Candy Crush Saga, and select "Uninstall".
- Since your progress is linked with your Facebook account, you don't have to worry about losing progress. You will only lose progress you have made on the phone app since it disconnected.

Reinstall the app. Once the app has been uninstalled, open your device's app store. Download and reinstall the Candy Crush Saga app. Don't launch the app yet.

Open Facebook on a computer. Launch a web browser, then navigate to the Facebook website. Enter your log in information.

Open the Candy Crush Saga app. Access your apps in the menu bar to the left of the screen on Facebook. Candy Crush Saga should be listed here. If it's not, search for it in the search bar at the top of the page.

Click "Play on Phone". This option is located in the lower-left corner of the screen after the game has loaded. Candy Crush Saga will be reconnected to your Facebook account, syncing your phone progress with your Facebook progress.^{[1]
