About This Article
If a friend sends you a photo or video Snap on Snapchat, you can replay it once after your first view. To do so, swipe left on the camera screen to open your Chats, and then tap a Snap to view it for the first time. After opening the Snap once, you'll be able to open it a second time as long as you don't leave the Chats screen or open anyone else's Snaps. To replay the Snap, tap and hold the friend who sent it, and then tap the Snap to view it.
Although you can only replay a private Snap once, you can watch your friends' Stories as many times as you want until they expire. To replay a Story, swipe left from the Camera to the Stories screen, and then tap the Story you want to see. Once you've watched your friend's entire Story, their Story icon will turn into a curved black-and-white arrow. Tap that arrow to replay the Story as often as you'd like.
