Twitter tested an Instagram Story-like feature called “Fleets”, however it was discontinued on August 3rd, 2021. Like other story or status features, Fleets disappeared after 24 hours. Users could reply to your Fleets with an emoji and also reply by Direct Message. You could share Tweets from public accounts to your Fleets. This wikiHow shows how it worked.
Steps

1Launch the Twitter app on your device. Log in with your username and password, If you haven't already done so. Make sure that your app is up to date to access this feature.
- The Fleets feature is currently under testing. So, it's only available for certain countries on Android and iOS.

2Find a Tweet to share as a Fleet. You can add any Tweets from public accounts to your Fleets. You can also share your own Tweets.Advertisement

3Tap on the “Share” button. You can find the share icon under any Tweets. When you tap on it, a tab will show up.

4Select Share in a Fleet option. It will be the last option in there. This will leads you to the Fleets section.

5Add texts to your Fleet (Optional). If you want to add any texts to the Fleet, just tap the Aa icon, at the bottom-left corner and write something. You can also use emojis from your keyboard.
- If you want to mention someone on your Fleet, use the “@” with their username. The mentioned user will get a notification when you post it.

6Tap on the Fleet button, at the top-right side. You can see your Fleets on the home tab. Tap on your profile icon from there to view it. You're done!
