Steps

    Open the GroupMe app on your Android. The GroupMe icon looks like a white "#" and ")" in a blue speech bubble. You can find it on your Apps menu.

    Tap the icon. This is your menu button in the upper-left corner of your screen. It will open your menu panel on the left.

    Tap the Find and invite more friends button. You can find this option at the top of your contacts list.

    Tap FIND FRIENDS FROM CONTACTS. This option is written in blue letters at the top of the Find Friends page. You'll have to confirm your action in a pop-up window.

    Tap SURE in the Connect Contacts window. This will import all the numbers from your phone contacts, and add the ones who use GroupMe to your contacts list here.

    Tap OK in the Done window. This will close the pop-up window, and allow you to view your new contacts list.
