Using Google/Bing Translate

    Go to your webpage. In any web browser of your choice, find and open the webpage you want to translate.

    Copy the webpage's URL. Select the URL in the address bar at the top of the web browser's window, then press either Ctrl+C (Windows) or Command+C (Mac).

    Open your translator choice. Google Translate and Bing Translate are two popular options.

    Paste your copied URL into the left text box. Click the left text box, then press either Ctrl+V (Windows) or Command+V (Mac).

    Click Translate. It's a blue button above the right-hand text box. Doing so will open the translated webpage in a new tab.

    Use the built-in translate feature. Google Chrome will automatically translate websites that are in languages other than your browser default into your browser's default language:
    • Go to the webpage you want to translate.
    • Click Translate when prompted.
    • If you don't see a Translate option, click the Google Translate logo in the far-right side of the address bar, then click Translate.
    • The Google Translate extension can be found here if you need machine translation.

    Click . It's in the top-right corner of the Chrome window. A drop-down menu will appear.

    Click Settings. You'll find this option in the drop-down menu.

    Open Firefox. Click or double-click the Firefox app icon, which resembles an orange fox wrapped around a dark-blue globe icon.

    Open the Translator add-on installation page. This add-on will allow you to translate entire Firefox webpages via Google Translate without having to use the Google Translate website.

    Click Add to Firefox. It's a blue button in the middle of the page.

    Click Add when prompted. Doing so allows the add-on to install to Firefox.

    Click OK when prompted. This will confirm that the add-on successfully installed.

On Microsoft Edge

    Open Microsoft Edge. Click or double-click the Edge app icon, which resembles either a white "e" on a blue background or a dark-blue "e".

    Open the Translator for Edge add-on page. This add-on will allow you to translate any page that's in a language other than your computer's default one into your preferred language.

    Click Get. You'll see this option in the middle of the page. Doing so opens the Microsoft Store app.

    Click Get in the Microsoft Store. It's a blue button on the left side of the window. Translator for Edge will begin installing.
    • It may take a few minutes for this add-on to install.

    Go to your webpage. Open the webpage that you want to translate.

    Open Safari. Click the Safari app icon, which resembles a blue compass, in your Mac's Dock at the bottom of the screen.

    Open the Translate extension for Safari. This extension allows you to translate entire webpages.

    • Depending on your Mac, you may need to hold down Control while clicking a blank space on the page.
