How to Write Graffiti on Walls

First, you need to learn to sketch graffiti on paper, before you attempt to write on walls. In this manual, here are the basic steps of writing graffiti on walls.

Find a graffiti spot. Most writers prefer legal graffiti and drawing on walls made for graffiti. You can have as much time as you want there!

Sketch a graffiti, which you want to draw on a wall, on paper.

Go to a local graffiti store and buy yourself some paint cans (Montana works best). Also buy yourself a variety of caps, they will be needed! (If you don't have a graffiti store around your city, then check out some online stores.)

Take the paint, with which you're going to fill in your letters.

Put on a skinny cap and draw a rough outline of your letters.

Put on a fat cap and fill the letters in good! Don't leave any blank spots.

Now, take the color, with which you want to outline your letters. (Most of the time it's black)

Outline the letters with whatever color suits your piece

Make whatever decorations you want to. (ex. background, splashes etc.)

Get out of there! Cops are always looking, especially in big cities.

First off, hide the paint cans. It would be best if you used gloves to avoid fingerprints. If you are interrogated, don't make too little eye contact, but don't make too much either. Also, don't blink too much. Just try to act naturally. Have a good excuse beforehand for being there, in case you get caught.

Be sure to use a respirator! The fumes are very harmful for your respiratory tract. A scarf or something like that will not do! If you doubt this, Philly writer Upski has a horrific article called "Wear Your Mask". This stuff can kill you over a long period of time if you don't wear a mask.

Also, be sure to use latex gloves. Remember, latex gloves will not protect you from fingerprints.
