Personal life
Bijan Robinson's mother LaMore was attending Mesa Community College, and decided to return to Tucson, Arizona, to raise him with the help of her parents, Cleo and Geraldine Robinson.[13][14] LaMore named her firstborn son after a line of fragrances by the Iranian designer Bijan, and later learned that the name meant "hero" in Persian.[13][15]
Cleo Robinson encouraged his grandson's interest in football by bringing home programs from the college games he officiated. Bijan would then cut the players' pictures out of the programs, paste them to popsicle sticks, and use them to learn plays and positioning. He would also frequently watch game film with his grandfather.[13] Bijan Robinson's great uncle is Paul Robinson.[15]
