Davey Street Congregational Church
Davey Street Congregational Church is a former Congregational church building located at 47 Davey Street, Hobart.

The church opened in 1857.[1] It was designed by Charles Tiffin and William Montgomery Davenport Davidson.
It closed in 1973 and the congregational merged with Memorial Congregational Church, which in 1977 became part of the Uniting Church in Australia.[2] Later that year the building was renovated and became home to Colony 47,[3] which stayed there until the Uniting Church sold the building in 2012.[4]
The first minister was George Clarke, who was there for 52 years, from 1857 to 1909.[5] Stafford Bird served as minister from 1874 to 1877, while Clarke traveled in England and Palestine. Later, Frederick Pratt served as minister from 1925 to 1928.[6]
