FC Barcelona (beach soccer)

FC Barcelona has a professional beach soccer team, which was founded in 2011, and Ramiro Amarelle, one of the best players in the world, was appointed player-coach of the team.[1]

In 2015, FC Barcelona won the fourth edition of the Mundialito de Clubes (Club World Cup) after beating Vasco da Gama in the final.[2][3]

In 2015 FC Barcelona claimed its first U.S. Open title at the North American Sand Soccer Championships.

In 2017 FC Barcelona claimed its second U.S. Open title in three years with a 6-1 victory vs. GoBeachSoccer (San Diego, CA) Sunday at the North American Sand Soccer Championships.
