Jama Masjid Rahmaniya, Bhairahawa (Nepal)

Madarsa Arabia Asharfiya Faizul Islam is the oldest Islamic school in Nepal, established in 1950 AD (2007 BS). The school is led by Maulana Faizullah Asharfi, who serves as the current principal. With an enrollment of approximately 200 students, including 20 hostel residents, Madarsa Arabia Asharfiya Faizul Islam is the only Islamic school in the area that provides free Islamic education, food, and accommodation to dakhila students.
Madarsa Arabia Asharfiya Faizul Islam offers a comprehensive curriculum that includes Arabic, Farsi (Parsian), Urdu, English, Nepali, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Economic, among other subjects. Imam of the Mosque Rahmaniya
The Imamship of Rahmaniya Mosque has been led by several distinguished individuals. The first appointed Imam was Maulana Ishaq Shahab, hailing from Bankatwa, Uttar Pradesh, India. Following him, Master Maulvi Nasruddin Ansari from Lar, India served as the second Imam. The current Imam, Maulana Faizullah Asharfih, has been serving in this position since 1973 AD, and continues to play an instrumental role in leading the community towards spiritual growth and development.
Mawlānā Faizullah Asharfih (Urdu: مولانا فضل الله; born September 7, 1959) is a well-known Islamic scholar who has made significant contributions to the study and practice of Islam. He hails from Saildah urph Kevaldah, tahsil Pharenda, Maharajganj Distt, Uttar Pradesh, India, and is the son of Safat Ali Shahab and Sahrun Nisha.
Maulana Faizullah Asharfih

Maulana Faizullah Asharfih received his Mawlawi Aalim degree from Khairabad, Ajamgarh, Uttar Pradesh, India and completed his Dastar Band training at Fakhrum Ulum in Balram Pur, Gonda, Uttar Pradesh, India. He is widely respected for his expertise in Islamic jurisprudence and his contributions to Islamic scholarship.
Currently, Maulana Faizullah Asharfih serves as the principal at Madarsha Arabiya Asharfiya Faizul Islam, and has been the Imam of Mosque Rahmaniya since 1973. Under his leadership, the Mosque has become an important center of Islamic learning and practice in the region.
In 2014, after dedicating a significant portion of his life to the service of the Mosque Rahmaniya, Maulana Faizullah Shahab left his position. However, he rejoined later and is currently serving again as its Imam. Despite his temporary departure, he continues to inspire and guide his followers through his teachings and writings.
Ahle Sunnat Wa Jamat Anjuman Islamiya Committee
Ahle Sunnat Wa Jamat Anjuman Islamiya Committee (Hindi:अहले सुन्नत व जमात अन्जुमन इस्लामिया कमिटी, Urdu:اہلسنت و جماعت انجمن اسلامیہ کمیٹی) is a registered Islamic social organization that was established by the local Muslim community of Bhairahawa, Nepal, in 1950. For over 70 years, the committee has been instrumental in promoting Islamic teachings, providing education, and offering essential services to the Muslim population in the region.
The committee comprises 13 elected members who oversee the management and maintenance of several institutions, including the Jama Masjid Rahmaniya, Madarsa Arabiya Asharfiya Faizul Islam, and a cemetery (Kabristan). The Jama Masjid Rahmaniya serves as the central mosque and a hub for religious activities, while the Madarsa Arabiya Asharfiya Faizul Islam provides education on Islamic principles to children and adults. The committee has also established a cemetery to enable Muslims to bury their loved ones according to Islamic traditions.
To support the community's growth and development, the committee has taken various initiatives, including providing vocational training, computer education, and a hostel facility for boys. The committee is also committed to organizing religious programs and welfare activities, including iftar programs, and providing financial assistance to those in need, especially orphans and those affected by natural disasters.
Ahle Sunnat Wa Jamat Anjuman Islamiya Committee is one of the oldest Islamic committees registered with the local government in Nepal, and its continued efforts since its establishment have significantly improved the lives of the local Muslim population.
