James Meade

James Meade (23 June 190725 December 1997) was a British economist. He was awarded the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences in 1977 together with the Swedish economist Bertil Ohlin "for their pathbreaking contribution to the theory of international trade and international capital movements".[1]
