Karchag
Karchag (Russian: Карчаг; Lezgian: КIварчагъ) is a rural locality (a selo) and the administrative centre of Karchagsky Selsoviet, Suleyman-Stalsky District, Republic of Dagestan, Russia. The population was 1,739 as of 2010.[2] There are 13 streets.[3]

Geography
Karchag is located on the Karchagsu River, 173 km (107 mi) southeast of Makhachkala[4] and 16 km (9.9 mi) north of Kasumkent (the district's administrative centre) by road. Ekendil is the nearest rural locality.[5]
