Kashif Nisar

Kashif Nisar (Urdu: کاشف نثار) is a Pakistani television director, producer and screenwriter. The nephew of Pakistani TV Director Tariq Mairaj,[1] Nisar is known for his work as television director on Pakistani Television. He has received several accolades as a screenwriter and as a director, including three Lux Style Awards for Best TV Director.

Career

He is known for directing drama serials. Kashif's most notable works are Dumpukht - Aatish-e-Ishq,[2] O Rungreza,[3] Ranjha Ranjha Kardi,[4] and Inkaar[5] for which he was nominated for several Lux Style Awards and a Hum Award.[6][7]

He won the Lux Style Award for Best Television Director for Dar Si Jaati Hai Sila and Ranjha Ranjha Kardi in 2019 and 2020, respectively.[8]
