Kessler, Dallas
The Kessler community is a group of primarily residential neighborhoods named for George E. Kessler, an American pioneer city planner and landscape architect, in Dallas, Texas (United States). The Kessler area is close to Downtown Dallas and north of the Bishop Arts District. Neighborhoods in the area include Kessler Park, Kessler Highlands, Kessler Square, East Kessler Park, West Kessler, Stevens Park Estates, and Kessler Plaza.[1]
Kessler Park is the principal area and a residential neighborhood with its development originated in 1920s.[2] It is generally bounded by Interstate 30 to the north, Stewart Drive to the south, Sylvan Avenue to the east.
Health care
Methodist Dallas Medical Center is located in the East Kessler Park neighborhood in the area.
