Laura Sarabia

Laura Camila Sarabia Torres (March 20, 1994) is a Colombian political scientist, an expert in marketing and campaign strategies, who has held the position of Chief of Staff of the Presidency since August 7, 2022.[1][2]

In this Spanish name, the first or paternal surname is Sarabia and the second or maternal family name is Torres.

Career

Sarabia is a graduate of the Nueva Granada Military University in international relations and has a specialization in political,[3] marketing and campaign strategies, she served as strategic chief of the presidential campaign of Gustavo Petro,[4] on July 25 as the new chief of staff and the second Consecutive time that a woman holds this position, her position makes her the second most important figure in the Petro administration, only behind the president and vice president, as chief of staff she has led the structuring of the president and the cabinet of a peace policy starting from the regions.[5][6][7]
