Luke Brennan (soccer)

Luke Brennan (born February 24, 2005) is an American soccer player who plays for Atlanta United 2 in MLS Next Pro.[1]

Early life

Brennan first played soccer at age three in a church league.[2]

Club career

On October 17, 2021, Brennan debuted for Atlanta United 2 against Memphis 901 in the USL Championship at age 16.[3] Brennan went on to play the next season with the second team, appearing in a total of 28 games, scoring 2 goals. During preseason of the 2023 season, Brennan was called up to Atlanta United's preseason tour. On February 15, 2023, he scored a goal in a 3–4 loss to Toluca in the 2023 American Family Insurance Cup.[4]

On March 9, 2023, it was announced that Brennan had signed a professional contract with Atlanta United 2 and would become a homegrown player for Atlanta United on January 1, 2024.[5]

International career

Brennan has been called up to the United States national under-19 soccer team for a training camp in California.[2]

Personal life

Brennan is of Native American descent.[2]
