Madi Baba

Madey Baba is a village and union council in the Takht Bhai Tehsil of Mardan District of the Pakistani province Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.[1]. It is situated on both sides of the Madey baba-Mandani Road which originates from the Main Malakand Road towards West at Parao Chowk and ends up in Mandani, District Charsadda. The village is named after the famous sufi saint Madey baba who is buried here in the middle of the grand graveyard. People initially came there mostly from the historic Jalala village in search of livelihood and to manage their agricultural land. The landscape of the village consists of fertile land, a river on one side and a canal on the other, sandy loams and plains.
