Manoj Kumar Pramanik

Manoj Pramanik born in Radhanagar of Niyamatpur Upazilla in Naogaon District. His father is the principle of a college, and his grandfather was a schoolteacher. He grew up in a cultural family as his mother is a singer, father and grandfather appeared in local stage drama performances. He has two brothers. He studied in Theatre and Performing Arts from University of Rajshahi. Also, he is a faculty of Department of Film and Media Studies in Jatiya Kabi Kazi Nazrul Islam University. Moreover, he did teach in University of Rajshahi too. In 2008, he moved to Dhaka after completing his study in Rajshahi.[1]

Manoj started working as Assistant Director of Amitabh Reza Chowdhury in 2008. He acted in the fim Balu Ghori in 2006 while he was the student of University of Rajshahi. He did a Grameenphone TVC in 2010. Also, he did TVC of Close-Up presents Kache Ashar Golpo, later he acted in the drama of this series.[3] He did a Banglalink TVC with Tasnuva Tisha in 2020.[4]

He acted in many films. He worked in Mostofa Sarwar Farooki's Shonibar Bikel (Saturday Afternoon), Taneem Rahman's Sahosika etc. Recently his works has been praised in Bongo BD's Laboni, Raihan Rafi's The Darkside of Dhaka, Taqdeer, Prem Puran etc.[5][6][7][8]

He acted in a music video named Kara Nilo Lut Kore in 2021. He started his production house named 'Monpachitra' in 2021. Monpachitra produced a short film series named Saat Dugune Chouddha, which is made by his students.[9]

He received the best actor award at short duration films category in 2022 Meril-Prothom Alo Awards.[10]

He is regular in acting from 2014. Ful Fotanor Khela, Kotha Chilo, Mon Boleche Jabo Jabo, Bhairobi, Kotha Hobe Toh?, Moner Taan, Bhalo Manush Hote Chai etc. are his notable works.[11][12][13][14][15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22][23][24][25]
